Rouch Cleaning Services

Live site, quotes now come in online

A website update for a UK cleaning company in Plymouth. I turned a dull Wix site into a clear booking and quote site where people pick a service, ask for a quote and book a clean in about a minute.

Vision

Make booking a cleaner feel as easy as sending one message.

Overview

Rouch Cleaning Services is a UK based cleaning company in Plymouth. They clean homes, offices, Airbnbs, deep cleans and end of tenancy jobs.

This was a website update. They already had a dull Wix site that did not explain the services or bring in work — every job still started with a phone call or a WhatsApp message. I rebuilt it into a clear product site where people pick a service, ask for a quote and book a clean in about a minute.

02

The Client

A small Plymouth team, fully insured, with ID checked cleaners. Their customers are homeowners, Airbnb hosts, letting agents and office managers.

The owner wanted the site to sound like a real person, not a big faceless company.

03

The Problem

People searching for a cleaner in Plymouth could not find them, and had no way to see prices, services or proof of quality.

The owner also lost hours each week answering the same questions: what do you clean, do you bring products, what if I am not happy.

04

Thought Process

I started from the one question a customer really has: can I trust this person in my home. So the whole site is built around trust, not around pretty pictures.

Then I mapped the six services they actually sell and gave each one its own page, because someone booking an end of tenancy clean has a different worry than someone booking a weekly home clean.

Last, I made the quote the main action everywhere. Not a price list, because every space is different, but a short form that a real person replies to.

05

What I Built

A home page that says what they do in one line and pushes you to start a cleaning plan.

Six service pages: domestic, office, deep, end of tenancy, Airbnb and recurring cleaning.

A quote request flow that takes about a minute, with no call out fee and no obligation.

A trust block: insured on every visit, ID checked and referenced cleaners, eco friendly products, free re-clean if you are not happy within 24 hours.

A before and after gallery with a drag slider, real Plymouth areas named on each job.

Reviews from customers, a clear FAQ, WhatsApp chat, phone and email in the footer.

06

Design Decisions

Blue and white from their logo, kept clean and calm so the space in the photos does the talking.

Short sentences. Every section answers one question and then offers the next step.

Mobile first, because most people search for a cleaner on a phone while looking at the mess.

07

What Was Achieved

The business went from phone only to a live website that works as their shopfront 24 hours a day.

Quote requests now come in online instead of only by call, so the owner can reply when it suits them.

Six services are explained clearly, which cut down the repeated back and forth questions before a job.

Trust is now visible on the page: insurance, ID checks, the free re-clean promise and a 4.5 Google rating.

Before and after work is shown as proof, so new customers can see the standard before they book.

The site is set up to be found in local search for cleaning in Plymouth, with business details, services and FAQs marked up for Google.

08

Outcome

A live, working product for a real paying client: rrouchcleaningservicescouk.lovable.app.

The owner can now send one link instead of explaining the business every time.

09

Lessons Learned

For a home service, trust sells before design does. Insurance, names and a promise did more than any animation.

Clients do not need every idea. Six clear services beat a long menu nobody reads.

Writing plain copy took longer than building the pages, and it was the part that changed the result.
